Please help Hank, Elizabeth and Callie Mae!

On May 7th, a long-time WANT family lost their home of 15 years on Farragut to fire. While everyone is safe, the loss is unimaginable, and they will need all of our help to get back on their feet.

As friends and neighbors of this McPherson family (Hank, Elizabeth, and Callie Mae), the WANT block club is raising this GoFundMe to help them with their most immediate needs and support them with the costs of temporary housing and replacing their belongings. No donation is too small and every dollar will help them take a step forward to recover from this! We will provide updates through the site and our blog as they let us know of their needs.

If you would like to donate gift cards or clothing items, you can drop them in the bin starting Friday afternoon to 1626 W. Farragut. Please read the instructions on the bin so we can keep items clean, dry and secure..

Callie is tall and wears youth 14s or size large.. Her shoe size is a youth 5 (women's 7?).

Elizabeth is wearing mostly XL shirts and size 14 trousers, shoe size 9.5.

Hank wears XL or XXL shirts, or 17-18 (34 length), Pants 40-42 waist, 32 length, Shoes 10.5

In addition to clothing, they are looking for a few suitcases to help them be a bit more mobile until they settle. While spring is in the air, the weather is still a bit chilly and unpredictable. If you have a jacket, or raincoat in good condition to help them for the next few weeks, that would be very useful.
